We're looking for an outstanding Engineering Program Manager with a solid track record of driving highly cross-functional projects dependent on innovative machine learning technologies. This role is critical in driving quality improvement for products impacting over 1 billion customers, and is crucial to crafting the highest quality user experience that Apple customers expect and love.

Description

- Build and run project timelines with clear dependencies, critical path and systematic methodology to communicate status. Handle risks and mitigations, and re-plan as events warrant. Drive alignment across the organization and between teams - Partner with cross-functional engineering teams to define requirements around a privacy focused approach to data collection and evaluation vital to launch and maintain premier Apple software products. - Work with instrumentation, data science and data engineering teams to develop data collection and evaluation solutions. - Work with dynamic cross functional engineering teams to optimize and lead measurement and evaluations efforts. - Work with engineering, privacy, and legal teams to develop safe data collection. - Work with research teams to develop long-term evaluation solutions.

8+ years of experience in driving large scale programs building machine learning powered productsExcellent program management skills including program structuring and managing multiple work streams interdependentlyHave personally orchestrated the delivery of multiple significant client/server software products requiring large organizations (100+)Strong analytical skills and a curiosity to peel the onion to discover opportunities for impact and better user experienceCapability to work across a large number of teams to enforce process and efficient outcomes in a data-driven environmentStrong verbal and written communication skills, including negotiation, presentation and influenceBS/MS degree in EE/CS/CE or equivalent

Pay & Benefits

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $165,500 and $293,800, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
