Job Details
Responsibilities:Analyze construction plans and specifications to determine project requirementsEstimate the cost of materials, labor, and equipment needed for construction projectsCollaborate with project managers and engineers to develop accurate cost estimatesPrepare detailed and comprehensive bid proposals for potential clientsNegotiate contracts and pricing with subcontractors and suppliersMonitor project costs throughout the construction process to ensure adherence to budgetReview and analyze change orders and provide cost impact assessmentsUtilize construction management software.Requirements:
Experience estimating in a relevant fieldProven experience in construction estimating, with a strong understanding of cost control principlesKnowledge of construction management and project management processesAbility to read and interpret construction plans, specifications, and contract documentsStrong analytical skills with attention to detailExcellent negotiation and communication skillsProficient in using estimating software and toolsAbility to work independently and meet deadlines
