Are you a talented communications professional with a passion for telling stories and building PR campaigns that engage a range of audiences? Do you have a knack for building strategic integrated communications plans that are rooted in measurable results? If so, this may be the job for you!Bechtel is looking for a Communications Specialist with strong writing skills and high judgement who can craft compelling content and develop strategic communications plans for distributing it across channels. The right candidate for this role understands how communications can effectively reach audiences across earned, owned, and paid channels. This person is eager to build PR campaigns from the ground up that drive meaningful results. The right candidate will work closely with senior executives and other departments—notably across Bechtel’s Corporate Affairs team—to lead integrated communications campaigns, amplify business and project milestones, and keep audiences informed and engaged.Major Responsibilities:

Manage the development and execution of communications strategies, PR plans, and idea generation in support of business goals.Develop and lead integrated communications campaigns that span earned, owned, and paid media.Partner with teams across Bechtel to identify stories and amplify notable news moments and project milestones.Draft communications materials, including but not limited to strategic communications plans, press releases, executive briefing documents, social media copy, marketing and website copy, among others.Foster and maintain relationships with key communications and business stakeholders across the globe.Education and Experience Requirements:

Requires a bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 2-5 years of relevant experience in communications/public relations or 6-9 years of relevant work experience.Required Knowledge and Skills:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including writing for the web and online platforms, including social media.Experience building strategic communications/PR campaigns and plans.Strong time management and interpersonal skills.Exceptional project management skills and attention to detail.Ability to work with executive leadership with maturity, confidence, and sound judgment.Highly proficient with Microsoft Office Suite is a must.Skills in editing and proofreading.Demonstrated ability to complete assignments under daily or weekly deadline pressure.Experience with paid media and advertising is a big plus.Diverse teams build the extraordinary:
