Certified SUD/AOD Journey Counselor , you will support the community by delivering face-to-face rehabilitative programming services provided in the Integrated Substance Use Disorder Treatment Program (ISUDTP). Journey Counselors do an array of tasks ranging from delivering treatment services to participants, reviewing treatment plans, evaluating and recording treatment progress, recording visible changes in appearance, behavior, and demeanor of program participants, and participating in monthly, block, cross-training, curriculum training, technical assistance training, or other training as appropriate.This is a Non-Exempt position. The hourly wage is $33.60 per hour.What You Will Bring:Certified
SUD/AOD Journey Counselors MUST meet one (1) of the following minimum requirements:A Master's Degree in a social service-related field and registered with an AOD certifying organization recognized by DHCS.A Bachelor's Degree in a social service-related field, and ONE (1) year of
certified
experience providing SUDT services as an AOD counselor.An Associate's Degree in a social service-related field, AOD
certified
, and THREE (3) years of
certified
experience providing SUDT services as an AOD Counselor.AOD certified and more than FIVE (5) years of
certified
experience providing
certified
SUDT services as a
certified
