As a member of the Epic Audio Team focusing on Fortnite Battle Royale, you will use your technical and creative skills to their fullest, helping define the future of interactive audio technology.In this role, you will

Help to raise the quality level of audio in all Epic game titles and technologiesEngage with a world-class team to create amazing gaming experiencesPush the development of audio features and integration for future Unreal audio engine developmentWhat we're looking for

Extensive audio programming and DAW skills and knowledgeStrong self-management and organization skills and ability to work independentlyExperience with Unreal or Unity editors, including scripting, level editor, animation and linear editorsExperience with audio middleware and implementing audio assets into game buildMixing and mastering multitrack audioAble to collaborate with diverse teams and disciplines to create effective audioAbility to design and implement audio scripting to achieve desired in-game audio features and dynamic playbackTroubleshooting audio issues, optimization to meet memory budget and performance requirements across multiple platformsMust have shipped at least two AAA titles and have 3 years as part of an audio teamExcellent knowledge and understanding of the video game development processPay Transparency Information

The expected annual base pay range(s) for this position are detailed below. Each base pay range is relevant only for individuals who are residents of or will be expected to work within the specified locale. Compensation varies based on a variety of factors, which include (but aren’t limited to) things such as skills and competencies, qualifications, knowledge, and experience. In addition to base pay, most employees are eligible to participate in Epic’s generous benefit plans and discretionary incentive programs (subject to the terms of those plans or programs).Washington Base Pay Range$165,686 — $221,007 USDABOUT US
