We are seeking a licensed professional counselor to join our team in Peru, Illinois. The ideal candidate will work one week on and one week off (Monday through Friday). If you value flexibility, work/life balance, and have a passion for helping individuals overcome challenges and improve their mental well-being, this is the position for you!Responsibilities:Provide counseling services to clients dealing with various mental health issuesDevelop and implement treatment plans tailored to each client's needsMaintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with Medicare and private insuranceCollaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clientsStay current on best practices in counseling and therapy techniquesQualifications:Master's degree in counseling or related fieldState licensure as a professional counselorExperience working with diverse populations, including geriatrics, active older adults with developmental disabilities, and those in need of behavioral therapyKnowledge of medical terminology, medical documentation, and ICD-10 codingJoining our team offers you the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of others while advancing your career in a supportive environment.
