Qualys VMDR: Vulnerability Management VM EngineerJob Summary:We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Qualys VMDR: Vulnerability Management VM Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining vulnerability management programs using Qualys VMDR. This role requires a deep understanding of vulnerability management best practices and the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels.Responsibilities and Duties:Implement and manage Qualys VMDR to identify, assess, prioritize, and remediate vulnerabilities across the enterprise.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and effective remediation of vulnerabilities.Develop and maintain vulnerability management reports and dashboards for management review.Stay up-to-date on the latest security threats and vulnerabilities and provide recommendations to mitigate risks.Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing as needed.Assist in responding to security incidents and conducting post-incident analysis.Provide guidance and knowledge sharing to junior team members.Qualifications and Skills:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.5+ years of experience in vulnerability management and security operations.Hands-on experience with Qualys VMDR and other vulnerability management tools.Strong knowledge of industry standards and best practices in vulnerability management.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Relevant certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) are a plus.
