Highly rated employer seeking a full time surgical technologist for Multiple Specialties: General Surgery / ENT / Gyn / Uro / Ortho. Multiple shifts available.

Responsibilities:

Maintain a sterile field: As a Surgical Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring a sterile environment in the operating room. This includes preparing and sterilizing surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies.Safe and correct instrumentation passing: You will assist surgeons by passing them the correct instruments during procedures. It is crucial to have a deep understanding of various surgical instruments and their uses.Perform sponge, needle, and instrument counts: During surgeries, it is essential to keep track of all sponges, needles, and instruments used. You will be responsible for counting and documenting these items accurately to ensure patient safety.Prepare patients for surgery: You will assist in preparing patients for surgery by positioning them on the operating table, draping them with sterile coverings, and cleaning and disinfecting the surgical site.Anticipate surgeon's needs: A successful Surgical Technician should be able to anticipate the needs of the surgeon during procedures. This includes having the necessary instruments and supplies readily available and being able to quickly respond to requests.Assist with patient care: In addition to providing support during surgery, you will also assist with patient care before and after procedures. This may include monitoring vital signs, providing post-operative care, and ensuring patient comfort and safety.Qualifications:

1+ years of experience: We require a minimum of 1 year of experience as a Surgical Technician. This ensures that you have a solid foundation of knowledge and skills in the operating room.
