Tasks
Get involved with challenging projects in management, process, and IT consulting with a focus on discrete manufacturingConduct workshops and consult, design, and lead innovative SAP DM (DMC) and SAP ME (Manufacturing Execution) implementationsAct in a functional consulting role for analysis, design, conception, prototyping, realization, testing, rollout, and supportDesign concepts to process data and overall architecture to enable digital production.Define, design and configure integration to other SAP modules (specifically SAP PP, QM, PM, IM, EWM, MII, PCo)Prepare functional specifications for development workConduct functional testing to ensure accurate configuration and development.Assume partial project management responsibilityPrepare process flows / training documents and execute training of our client’s business owners and usersCreate long-term relationships with clientsIdentify and lead business development and presales activities including proofs-of-concept, demos, presentations, webinars, blog posts, RFP responses, estimations, proposals, leads & opportunities follow-upTake over responsibility as (sub) project team leaderAchieve a strong reputation as a business advisor
Qualifications
At least 5 years of relevant manufacturing industry and/or consulting experienceSuccessful demonstration of business development with new and existing clientsAt least 2 full SAP ME and/or SAP DM project implementationsKnowledge of production planning, production master data, MRP, shop floor order creation/tracking, shop floor quality, logistics, and plant maintenance processesAbility to define SAP DM/ ME implementation strategy, gather functional and non-functional requirements, design and prototype, test, train, define support procedures, and implement practical business solutionsKnowledge of SAP DM/ME site setups, shop floor master data, shop floor execution and tracking, ERP integration, PODs, data collection (DC), genealogy, returns management, site-to-site transfer, etc.Knowledge of integration points of SAP DM/ ME to other SAP componentsProfound SAP project and Go-Live experience (SAP implementation approach)Experience preparing and presenting proofs-of-concept, demos, proposals, RFP responsesExperience preparing and presenting webinars, manufacturing eventsMust be self-motivated and capable of working under minimal supervision of a ManagerMust possess the necessary leadership, team building, motivation, and delegation skills to efficiently coordinate the efforts of a team toward accomplishing a common goalExperience with exploiting the convergence of OT and IT to drive digital transformation in manufacturingAbility to recognize and evaluate client business/technical needs and establish change initiatives to meet these needsProfessional appearance with strong customer focusAnalytical and structuredFluency in English (multi-lingual preferred)Bachelor’s Degree is required
