SimpliSafe is looking for an Embedded Firmware Engineer to help us develop embedded firmware products for our award-winning wireless IoT home security used by millions of users.What You’ll Bring
Experience developing modern C++11 applications in embedded Linux environmentExperience developing multi-threaded applications using IPC and/or TCP/UDP/IPExperience in state machines and event-driven architecturesExperience using GIT, including submodules, branching, and release managementHave a track record of writing clean, readable, testable, high-quality codeEmbodied our values of working collaboratively, showing no ego, and getting things doneBachelor's Degree in CS/CE/EE or equivalent experienceExperience with video/audio standards (MJPEG, H.264, MPEG-3) or WebRTC preferredExperience with the IoT onboarding process and Matter, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, or ThreadWhat Values You’ll Share:
