position.What We Need:We’re seeking a Part Time News Anchor/Reporter. This is an exciting opportunity to apply your experience in a fast-paced environment and continue growing your skills.What You'll Do:Anchor newscasts for multiple markets.Duties will require working on weekends and overnights.Write clear, concise news copy.Produce, edit and write content for 24/7 Newswire.Gather audio from press conferences, live events and partner TV stations.Produce short-form reports (voicers/wraps) for anchors on the following shift.May be called on to anchor breaking news reports as needed.Other duties as assigned.What You'll Need:Extensive "on-air" background.Proficient in media production and broadcast systems.Ability to plan and organize, set priorities and multitask in a fast-paced environment.What You'll Bring:Respect for others and a strong belief that others should do this in return.Ability to work within prescribed guidelines without needing close supervision.Problem solving skills within established procedures.Understanding of when to seek guidance for unforeseen problems.Close attention to detail.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Ability to act in a professional manner and collaborate with colleagues of different levels.Compensation:Salary to be determined by multiple factors including but not limited to relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and alignment with market data.
