Part-Time Faculty Position - Practicum Coordinator

The Graduate School of Applied and Professional Psychology (GSAPP) at Rutgers University–New Brunswick invites applications for a part-time (50%), non-tenure track faculty position in the Clinical Psychology Department. This faculty member will provide oversight to practicum placements for clinical psychology doctoral students in our APA-accredited Psy.D. program, which includes the development and maintenance of a network of placements throughout the region. They will also support students in their application for externships in clinical settings and liaise with site supervisors and regional consortia. This person will conduct practicum site visits, host an annual practicum fair, and develop affiliation agreements. Competitive candidates will demonstrate appropriate professional practice experience, excellence in supervision, and specialized knowledge in clinical psychology. In addition, they should be knowledgeable about licensure requirements and have a working understanding of APA Standards of Accreditation. Applicants will also show the capacity to contribute to the mission and goals of GSAPP and the professional community.Position Status:

A doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology. Also preferable is at least two years of experience in a supervisory role.Certifications/Licenses:

The applicant must be licensed as a psychologist in New Jersey. At least two years of licensure in NJ is preferred.Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Strong commitment to and experience in professional training in applied and professional psychology. Knowledge of APA Standards of Accreditation.
