Job Title: Photographer/Videographer

Reports to: Vice President of e-CommerceFLSA Status: ExemptPLEASE RESPOND WITH YOUR RESUME, AND A LINK TO EXAMPLES OF YOUR COMMERCIAL PRODUCT PHOTOGRAPHY.Summary:

The position is responsible for supporting all digital content to support multiple brand websites and any other designated marketing initiatives. Specifically, this person will be shooting commercial still images [and on occasion, lifestyle images] for online use. This would also include thorough retouching, editing, uploading and maintaining file structure to support all channels.The successful candidate will also have solid skills in digital production & editing to produce video that is professional and compelling for online use. We’re looking for the talent and skill set - your portfolio is important, but so is your willingness to work hard and collaborate effectively with teams to create quality content. You’ll learn the ecommerce business from the inside working alongside other professionals and have access to a spacious studio and modern equipment.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Captures DSLR images utilizing photographic lighting or operates DSLR camera while capturing videoMaintain and adhere to image guidelines for all product categoriesResponsible for retouching and editing of photographic images and post production video editingResponsible for uploading and maintaining image files in the appropriate format, which includes metadata, file structure and naming conventionResponsible for basic multimedia applicationsCoordinate offsite shoots with varied location backdropsMust be willing to travel 10% and have the flexibility to work extended hours and weekends if neededMeet all deadlines associated with accurate digital content creation and maintenanceContinuously discover and implement new technologies and industry best practicesCommunicate effectively with all internal and external contactsComputer Skills:

Ability to perform and understand the functions of personal computers and have a good working knowledge of relevant photo and video editing software. After a short training period this position must show an in-depth proficiency with our content management systems.Education and/or Experience:

BA degree in photography, video, or cinematography; 5+ years of experience in commercial photography and video production preferred.Language Skills:

Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations.Reasoning Ability:

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to take conceptual instruction and translate it into actionable tasks consistent with agreed upon goals. Ability to think independently and figure out how to reach solutions to complex problems.Work Environment:
