Position Description
Working with current and prospective clients of the Firm, use your talent to provide technology support to launch implementations, provide training and troubleshoot hardware and software issues for a variety of companies. Learn and grow your credentials by attending professional conferences, obtain certifications to expand your professional knowledge of network administration. The Network Infrastructure Engineer will work as a business advisor to provide timely, high quality client service to our mid-market clientele. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills (written and oral), problem solving skills, a strong work ethic, and good client relations.
Responsibilities include:
Designing IT solutions with an emphasis on manufacturer standards and best practicesManage the installation of network infrastructure equipment including switches, routers, wireless, and security appliances at client sitesIdentifying and escalating cross selling opportunitiesEstablishing rapport and trust with key client decision makersMeet with prospective clients, evaluate needs via technical assessments and deliver appropriate recommendationsExcellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills and ability to interact with external clientsAbility to multi-task and manage a variety of projects at onceBasic Qualifications:
Degree or Certification in IT-related fieldMinimum three to five years' experience with related network infrastructure technologies such as Cisco, Meraki, Palo Alto, etc.Strong knowledge of Layer 2 technologies and dynamic routing protocolsAbility to travel up to 10% for onsite client supportPreferred Qualifications:
IT consulting experience with mid-market clients a plusCCNPWireless ExperienceSD-WAN ExperienceStrong customer service orientationStrong problem solving skills and ability to provide hands-on technical supportWillingness to travel throughout the regional area as needed

At RSM, an employee's pay at any point in their career is intended to reflect their experiences, performance, and skills for their current role. The salary range (or starting rate for interns and associates) for this role represents numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to, education, skills, work experience, certifications, location, etc. As such, pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range.
Compensation Range: $78,600 - $148,500
Individuals selected for this role will be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on firm and individual performance.
