As the Head of Growth & Investments (HGI), you will be responsible for fostering new business investment and acquisition strategies within all current and future Krause Group businesses aligning with our purpose, mission, and values. This position will oversee the corporate development strategy and goals of the organization. This includes collaborating, formulating, and implementing initiatives to set Krause Group businesses apart in the marketplace. Additionally, you will lead efforts to identify new investment opportunities through transformative strategies.

Principal Functions of the Job

The Head of Growth & Investments is responsible for selecting the right opportunities that align with Krause Group's purpose, vision, and value. Activities the Head of Growth & Investments oversees include:Develop Growth Strategies: Lead the development and execution of comprehensive growth strategies. Including:

Identify and develop new and innovative revenue producing activities within existing Krause Group businesses.Identify and evaluate potential target businesses for acquisition.Conduct market research and analysis to identify new opportunities for growth, expansion, and diversification. Utilize financial models to evaluate opportunities.Monitor industry, market, and demographic trends on an ongoing basis to inform revenue strategies.

Strategic Partnerships: Cultivate strategic partnerships and alliances to accelerate growth, enhance capabilities, and access new markets.

Serve as a member of the Senior Leadership Team.Influence business leaders to adopt recommendations and new processes

Talent Development: Build and mentor a high-performing team, fostering a culture of continuous learning, innovation, and collaboration.Performance Monitoring: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to monitor the effectiveness of growth initiatives and drive continuous improvement.Budget Management: Manage the growth and development budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources to achieve strategic objectives.Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including executives, board members, investors, and partners.Other duties as assigned.Adheres to all company policies and procedures.Other duties as assigned.Qualifications

Experience

A minimum of 10 years of experience in corporate/business development, investment strategy, International M&A, or related fields, with a demonstrated focus on sustainable and responsible business practices.Proven track record of growing businesses through innovation, partnerships, mergers & acquisitions, startup organizations or private equity. Strong acumen for investments and portfolio management.Direct or in-direct experience with marketable securities or private equity (PE) investing.Proven experience developing and executing business strategy for an operating business.History of decision-making based on business metrics and data analysis.Implemented Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives aligned with Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), resulting in social and environmental benefits for both the organization and the community.Minimum Skills and/or Knowledge Required

Inspirational leadership style and hands-on approach.Ability to craft and execute a business strategy.Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation abilities.Have a strong passion for CSR/ESG.Excels in environments characterized by volatility, uncertainty, complexity, and ambiguity.Experience in formulating recommendations and/or solutions to complex issues. Critical thinking to identify, assess and develop potential solutions from a complex fact pattern or situation.Fluency in Italian is preferred.Ability to travel national & international up to 30% of the time.Duties and responsibilities, as required by business necessity may be added, deleted, or changed at any time at the discretion of management, formally or informally, either verbally or in writing.
