Regional Sales Manager - based out of Bloomington, MN

Johnstone Supply - The Heartland Group is currently hiring a Regional Sales Manager for our Bloomington branch. This organized, energetic, and knowledgeable individual will manage the sales team of our North Region, drive and manage overall sales growth, profitability and performance of sales staff and key accounts.

Requirements

Education and Experience:

Required:

College degree OR equivalent combination of education and experience.Minimum of five years complex selling experience, with strong emphasis on business-to-business product sales and documented success.Minimum of five years of successful relevant sales management experience, directly managing outside salespeople with documented successPreferred

Direct Sales and Sales management experience in the business-to-business HVAC/R industry.Strong focus on sales process planning and implementation.Job-Specific Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Demonstrated understanding and application of effective sales strategies and techniques.Skill in building long-term customer relationships.Demonstrated competency in budgeting, forecasting and planning.Ability to maintain a positive and friendly demeanor.General knowledge of HVAC/R products, concepts and the industry.Skill in proactively communicating (both verbal and written) to establish relationships and influence decisions.Excellent negotiation and objection countering skills.Skill in using critical thought to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions.Strong project management and multi-tasking skills.Strong leadership, motivation and managerial skills.Demonstrated skill in developing and implementing business plans and goals.Knowledge of principles and methods of selling products and services.Knowledge of accounting and reporting practices.Knowledge of Microsoft Office and CRM software.Ability to manage coworker interactions with tact and diplomacy.Self motivated.Displays persistence, with strong drive to succeed.
