This role offers a unique opportunity to provide outstanding customer service while addressing project and work request needs. You will have the chance to join ongoing projects aimed at implementing new IT solutions to enhance efficiencies and public support. These IT solutions leverage current technologies and involve collaboration with subject matter experts, vendors, and the public. As the crucial link between DTMB and project stakeholders, your role will involve expert facilitation and elicitation to help develop strategies and requirements for future enhancements and related work projects. You will also be a vital member of the DTMB Agency Services Business Analyst team, participating in various work requests and contributing to the operational activities of the team. The perfect candidate will have SOM DTMB process experience; strong facilitation experience for requirements elicitation; experience with gap fit analysis and requirements refinement for an inflight project. Key Responsibilities: Facilitate requirements elicitation meetings; experience with gap fit analysis and requirements refinement. Review, analyze, and evaluate business systems and user needs. Formulate systems to parallel overall business strategies. Prepare and document Functional and Technical Specifications for reporting and data warehouse work. Assist with business warehouse/intelligence support and enhancements. Review, analyze, and evaluate business systems and user needs. Formulate systems to parallel overall business strategies. Experience Required: Minimum of 7 years conducting business process review and requirements elicitation and documentation Minimum of 5 years developing and/or managing user stories on Agile development project(s) Minimum of 2 years working directly with senior management in facilitating discussions to determine strategy, develop road maps and/or gain consensus to resolve opposing positions Minimum of 2 years supporting the development of or compliance to statement of work and/or other work agreements/contracts Minimum of 2 years working on projects developing/implementing IT solutions for public use Minimum of 1 year working on IT infrastructure projects Minimum of 1 year working with programs governed by state and/or federal regulations DTMB Agency Services welcomes candidates who are self-directed, well-organized, confident in their ability to build relationships, quick to adapt to new assignments, and able to be flexible and adaptable to changing needs and/or direction. This position may include remote work at the discretion of the resource manager, but the candidate should plan to be available to report to a Lansing, MI job location in accordance with DTMB on-site work schedule (currently, 2 days a week).
