Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Job Specialty: Medical/Surgical - Head/Neck Inpatient Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night (12 hours) Guaranteed Hours: Experience: Skilled surgery RN; experience in General Surgery, Bariatric Surgery, Head and Neck Surgery preferred License: GA or Compact license Certifications: AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) Must-Have: Experience working in an ENT unit, with care for patients with tracheostomies and laryngectomies Job Description: - Provide nursing care to patients in the ENT unit, specializing in conditions of the head and neck.- Manage and care for patients with tracheostomies and laryngectomies.- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.- Administer medications and perform necessary procedures as per protocols.- Monitor patient conditions and provide timely interventions and communications with the healthcare team.- Educate patients and families about health management and post-operative care.- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with hospital policies.- Demonstrate adaptability, flexibility, and a professional demeanor in a dynamic environment.
