CHATTANOOGA TENNESSEE'S PREFERRED BEHAVIORAL HEALTH HOSPITAL FOR ADOLESCENTS, ADULTS & OLDER ADULTS Erlanger Behavioral Health Hospital i s a 94-bed treatment center at the corner of Holtzclaw and Citico avenues in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Our hospital provides superior psychiatric and addiction services for individuals of all ages. Overview: Responsible for the diagnosis and treatment of mental illnesses through a combination of personal counseling (psychotherapy), psychoanalysis, hospitalization and/or medication. Responsibilities: Responsible for providing clinical services to patients at the facility. Practice within medical protocols defined by federal and state regulations, as well as by corporate, facility policy or procedures. Review medical information on patients to ensure medical stability and to offer medical recommendations. Evaluate patients for mental, emotional or behavioral disorders. Treat or direct treatment of patients, utilizing a variety of psychotherapeutic methods and medications. Review and complete medical information for individual care plans, documents services and information in a timely manner. Qualifications:

Doctoral degree in Medicine (MD or DO) required. One or more years post graduate degree practice preferred. Licensed in the the state in which the facility(s) operate. Licenses/Certifications: Board certification in psychiatry Current DEA credentials to prescribe controlled substances without restrictions and per regulation within the state in which the practitioner will be working.
