Chemist

Responsibilities:

• The role of the temporary scientist – hair color is to assist hair color scientists in developing new hair color formulations. This will involve problem solving, lab batching, analysis, and testing.
• The scientist should competently understand test methods required to deliver a quality product and conduct laboratory experiments.
• Prepare lab batches for hair color applications and conduct testing to verify release criteria.
• Conduct stability and efficacy testing including detailing experiments, analysis, and summary of results.
• Maintain documentation of lab results, conclusions, and next steps.
• Contact suppliers and in-house experts to source raw materials or data as needed.

• BS/MS in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field plus 0-4 years of experience (or) Prior experience in Hair Color/Care or Consumer Products formulation.
• Strong problem-solving skills and positive attitude.
• Strong communication and analytical skills. Quick learner.
• Strong data management (excel etc.)
