We have an exciting opportunity available for a Transportation Engineer/Project Manager in our Chicago O'Hare office.

**Transportation Engineer/Project Manager responsibilities include:**

* Project oversight including setting priorities and developing objectives, project financial management as well as hands-on involvement in the design process.

* The ability to serve as a technical resource for a multi-disciplined team.

* Good communication skills and a proven track record in successfully interacting with clients and internal team members is necessary.

* Project engineering and management.

* Business development activities including proposal preparation, project interviews/presentations, and client management.

* Professional society involvement.

**In order to be considered for our Transportation Engineer/Project Manager position, we are considering candidates who possess the following minimum qualifications:**

* Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.

* Minimum of 5 years of practical design experience in transportation engineering, highway design, and local street design.

* Knowledge of IDOT, CDOT, and IL Tollway design and standards.

* PE license in IL.

* Experience in business development and project development processes, including marketing activities, client development, project tracking and proposal development.

* Good communication skills and a proven track record in successfully interacting with clients and internal team members is necessary.

* Proficiency with MicroStation required. Experience with AutoCAD Civil3D software is desired.
