Distribution Design Specialist I

Job Summary and Objectives:Conexon is a rapidly growing company working with Rural Electric Cooperatives to build advanced fiber to the home (FTTH) networks nationwide. We are currently looking for a Distribution Design Specialist I to join the Conexon Field Services team.The candidate will work with the team to ensure proper processing of field collected data, including cable tracing, make-ready recommendations, annotations, and other actions requested by each client. The candidate will check in daily with the Field Collection crew to manage and maintain data uploads to be processed as well.Responsibilities and Duties:Use engineering software (Katapult) for photo classification, cable tracing, and MRE recommendations when neededAbility to identify different types of equipment and communication linesScheduling with timeline production and trackingWeekly status reportingAbility to aid RUS Staking Engineer in all aspects of their jobOther duties as assignedJob Qualifications:High school or equivalent education level is requiredTravel for work will be requiredAttention to detail and accountability for work is requiredStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data sets and identify optimization opportunitiesExcellent project management skills, with the ability to lead and manage multiple projects simultaneouslyEffective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholdersContinuous learning mindset with a keen interest in staying updated with the latest advancements in the fieldElectric Cooperative experience is highly preferredKnowledge of RUS specifications is highly preferredCompany Benefits Include:Paid time offFull benefits (i.e., health, dental, and vision)Life insuranceLong-term and short-term disability insuranceRetirement benefits
