Responsible for the development and maintenance of their assigned brand. Responsibilities include implementing the strategic business development plans for the brand, maintaining brand identity, and executing marketing plans.Action Sports Brand Marketing Manager

Coordinate strategic brand management plans with internal and external resources to achieve results.Closely monitor and analyze sales volumes, market share trends and competitive activity.Assist in the identification and development of business building ideas and work with other business unit team members to execute the plans.Analyze consumption and shipment data and compare results to established objectives to assure the effectiveness of marketing programs.Provide appropriate levels of communication with internal departments to assist in ordering, capacity planning and developing closeout channels.Conduct field and market research to ensure the brand is addressing trade and consumer needs as well as continually contributing to the strategic development and positioning of the brand.Build relationships with vendors and Creative Services; manage budgets, estimates, bidding, artwork execution, proofs, issuing of purchase req's, proofing and press approvals.Oversee the global media process for the brand including establishing and monitoring media budgets; compile global media briefs, write content and scripts for use in articles and other text requirements.Propose marketing strategy and specify merchandising needs.Maintain brand POP and advertising budget and monitor expenses to ensure costs are within established levels.Manage and analyze POP surveys, providing next step recommendations.Work closely with the in-house PR department to help coordinate product development, product launches, training materials and promotional activities with the domestic and international sales teams.Attend domestic and international trade shows; organize marketing related information across brands at trade shows, market weeks and special events, presence in stores, key account promotions, etc.Ensure proper shipment of all materials to DC's, sales team and customers.Develop product specifications sheets, product catalogs, product concept, release plans, brand briefs, concept charts, and product line management calendar.Perform all other duties as assigned.Job Specifications:

Typically has the following skills or abilities:Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or related field or equivalent experience.4+ years experience in product or brand management required.Experience with Sports Brands preferred.Advanced understanding of brand management and marketing concepts and building/execution techniques.Solid working knowledge of MS Office, PowerPoint, Word and Excel.Ability to elevate the perception of our corporate brand and our company.Experience in fashion or fashion-related industry preferred.Excellent project management skills and experience managing large projects.Excellent organization skills, detail-oriented and ability to multitask.Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.Flexible and able to quickly and effectively change priorities and direction.Strong analytical skills required.Ability to write and present clear and concise reports.Travel domestic and international required.Compensation:

Salary range for the role is listed below. Applicable salary ranges may differ across markets. Actual pay will be determined based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.
