£26,000 pa is effective from 1st October 2024. If you start before this date, the starting salary will be at the current rate of £24,000 pa, until 1st October 2024, when the pay increase takes effect.Holiday:
12 weeks paid holiday a yearLocation : This is a travelling role. You will be in schools in London but there may be times throughout the year where UK travel is required.Fuel:

Would you like to give thousands of children their first experience of live music?Imagine the person who inspired you to be a musician, this role makes you that person every day.The RoleDeliver music assemblies and workshops in primary schools across the UKExcite and inspire children aged 4-11 to want to learn an instrument in a rock bandYou will perform daily in front of the most energised and captivating audience in the world - ChildrenCreate lasting relationships with the school’s staffSkills and ExperienceMulti-instrumentalist - skilled on at least 3 of: drums, guitar, keyboard and vocalsExcellent communication and social abilities with both children and adultsDynamic, confident and approachableThrive on performing and public speakingPersonable and people focusedSales experience preferred, but not a requirement (we provide training)Comfortable working independentlyFull UK driving licence and own transportOur MissionRocksteady is the largest rock school in the world and our mission is simple - To empower as many children as possible and transform their lives through progressive and inclusive music education which directly improves their wellbeing, confidence, and life skills.Additional InformationWe are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all children and expect all our staff to share this commitment. As this role involves regular work with children and young people, and meets the definition of regulated activity, it is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974. Under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 you must disclose all unprotected unspent and spent cautions and convictions. Further details on what convictions must be declared can be found in the Governments Guidance on the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and the Exceptions Order 1975.If you are offered this position, Rocksteady will ask you to complete an enhanced DBS check with a children's barred list check. It is an offence for an individual who has been barred from working with children to apply for regulated activity.
