Big Stone Gap, VA, Wallens Ridge State Prison is a level 5 prison housing approximately 1,200 inmates. This facility operates a 4-month long Fentanyl Response Program providing substance use disorder services to males identified for treatment.Schedule:
Monday – Friday, 7:30 am – 4:30 pm with a 1-hour unpaid meal break.Pay rate:
$26.44/hour. ($55,000 annually) Candidates with a CSAC, CADC, or equivalent license/certification are eligible for a pay rate of $28.846/hr. ($60,000 annually.)Paid time off401k with company contributionDiscounts on wide array of services/entertainmentQualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Human Services field is required.State certification as a Substance Abuse Counselor (CSAC) in the state of Virginia or similar certification/license recognized by the Virginia Board of Professional Counselors is required within two (2) years of signing job description.The
Counselor
