Job Description

To research, evaluate, design, implement, and maintain system and product solutions, applying knowledge of engineering principles. To provide technical direction and engineering support for projects and infrastructure. Develop and maintain working knowledge of evolving IT engineering industry technologies/competition, concepts and trends.

Responsibilities

  • Full life-cycle project management
    • Establish and lead project teams
    • Develop project plan/scope/schedule/cost/communications
    • Procure and/or manage resources/timelines/deadlines/quality
    • Risk, Issue and Change management
    • Ensure successful project implementation
    • Scope of responsibility
  • Apply engineering principles into the design and enhancement of new and existing systems
  • Document new system components, or modifications to existing components
  • Develop and/or support APIs (Application Program Interfaces)
  • Implement and support Oracle PeopleSoft ERP Cloud for Inventory or Procure-To-Pay
  • Implement and support Inventory or Facilities Management or Energy Management systems
  • Ensure the security and integrity of system and product solutions including compliance with Navy Federal, industry engineering and Information Security principles and practices
  • Perform engineering tasks and assignments in support of business needs
  • Perform engineering technology research, procurement, deployment, and configuration for new and modified systems
  • Present clear, organized and concise information to all audiences through a variety of media to enable effective business decisions
  • Participate in Scrums, PI Planning, and maintain backlog in ADO (Azure Dev Ops) agile tool
  • Perform other duties as assigned


Qualifications

  • Familiarity with engineering discipline
  • Hands-on experience with ADO (Azure Dev Ops) or other Agile tool
  • Experience developing or supporting APIs (Application Program Interfaces)
  • Knowledge or experience with Oracle PeopleSoft ERP Procure-To-Pay or Inventory
  • Experience with Inventory or Facilities Management or Energy Management systems
  • Effective database and presentation software skills
  • Effective organizational, planning and time management skills
  • Effective research, analytical, and problem solving skills
  • Effective skill exercising initiative and using good judgment to make sound decisions
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Effective word processing and spreadsheet software skills
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Information Technology or the equivalent combination of training, education, and experience

Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00AM - 4:30PM
