We truly hope you will find where you belong, here at Cleveland Clinic.A Registered Nurse (RN) in the Endoscopy Department at Weston Hospital provides direct care to pre- and post-procedure patients in a fast-paced environment, following established standards, department guidelines and hospital policies and procedures. The RN will use their strong assessment and critical thinking skills to collaborate with the multi-disciplinary team in order to provide the best outcomes for each patient. This role plays an integral part in ensuring patient advocacy, safety and education. A minimum of one year experience as an RN in an acute care setting or surgical services is required. The hours of this per diem position are 12-hour shifts, 6am - 6:30pm. A minimum of 48 hours per six-week schedule is required. One shift per week is preferred. No call or weekend requirements. Required qualifications for the ideal candidate include:A MINIMUM OF ONE YEAR OF RN EXPERIENCE IN AN ENDOSCOPY DEPARTMENT IS REQUIRED.Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing. BSN preferred.Current state licensure as Registered Nurse (RN).Proof of Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) through American Heart Association (AHA) must be presented upon hire.Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action.Provides care with empathy and compassion.Our caregivers continue to create the best outcomes for our patients across each of our facilities.
