As the Director of Development and Technology for Private Label, you will be responsible for delivering innovative, high-quality software and services to support our Private Label credit card business. You will work closely with peers across the company to drive continuous innovation and the evolution of our technology landscape.

In this role, you will lead the design and delivery of technologies enabling the customer application process, credit transactions, processing, servicing, and reporting for high-profile retailers and their customers. You will create modern, seamless integrations and experiences that make it easy for our partners and merchants to get the most out of our products. You will lead a team of highly dedicated and passionate people who are excited to transform the landscape and tackle new challenges.

ResponsibilitiesThe position is located at our headquarters in Beaverton, Oregon, and will lead a team of developers and analysts working both around the office and across the country. QualificationsRequirements:

A desire to bring your experience and leadership to a team ready to learn new methods, challenge themselves and transform their technology landscape in meaningful ways.

Expertise in development and delivery, including customer-facing technologies, modern integrations, and cloud-first platforms where quality, scalability, and 24x7x365 availability are key.

Strong experience in technology leadership roles operating in Agile configurations and with responsibility for team compositions, performance, technology direction, execution, and lifecycle management.

Solid collaboration skills, a focus on building strong relationships, and a desire to foster an environment of mutual support and success where delivery Is an enterprise goal.

Experience mentoring and supporting teams to develop new muscles, evolve their ways of thinking, and adopt new stands in quality and development.

Deep understanding of the modern skills, processes, tools, and methodologies required to rapidly develop, deliver, and iterate high-quality, secure software and services.

Strong practical background in cloud-native development and common traditional components of development such as C#, ASP/ASP.Net, .NET Core, RESTful API, JavaScript, jQuery, SQL Server, etc.

Experience with external transactional API integrations desired.

Experience leading Azure development and integration technologies such as Azure DevOps, Service Bus, Event Grid, Function Apps, Cosmos, containerization, etc., or similar technologies in AWS or GCP.

Practical experience with rapid delivery and automation through CI/CD pipelines and a team focus on security, performance, quality, and effective testing.

Budget, vendor, and technology lifecycle management experience.

Comfort leading and working with distributed teams.
