Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated

Project Manager IT

to join our team. This position facilitates the events and processes and assists the teams in delivering value by fostering team project management best practices. The role embodies the continuous improvement mindset and strives to improve this all in a robust way, relentlessly. You will work in strong collaboration with Software Development Life-cycle, System Architecture, Business Readiness Managers as well as stakeholders and vendors. Duties, responsibilities and activities may change at any time with or without notice.)Project/Program PlanningIdentifies, plans, and coordinates a set of related projects within a program, to manage their interdependencies in support of specific business strategies.Develops and implements long-term goals and objectives to achieve the successful outcome of projects and programs.Builds strong business relationships to define strategic plans and product roadmapsCoordinates cross-functional teams (IT & Business) to ensure project alignment with organizational goals.Works with the Director PMO to develop and manage a project change control process to ensure project teams operate within the scope of the change approval process.Develops and manages forecasting and tracking of resources, project costs and budgetManages project team capacity and supports resource capacity planningProject/Program Management ExecutionLead the planning, execution, and closing of technology projects, ensuring they meet specified timelines, budgets, quality, and regulatory standards.Communicate project status, updates, and results to stakeholders, including senior leadership and external partners.Monitor project performance using appropriate tools and techniques, ensuring continuous improvement.Ensures timely completion of tasks, maintaining project schedule and target datesLeads and directs high-priority matrix projects, which often require considerable resources and high levels of functional integration and interaction with project sponsors and teams.Conducts project and program meetings at leadership and/or executive levelsFacilitates and manages the change control process as it relates to assigned projects; ensures project team operates within the scope of the change approval process. Notifies stakeholders of schedule, scope, and budget impactsDevelops strategies around improving performance and resultsIdentifies and evaluates the risks associated with program activities and takes appropriate action to mitigate the risksDevelop and manage centralized, comprehensive project plans for assigned projects including estimation of work effort for associated project plansDocument procedures to monitor the progress of the project and to take corrective action when necessaryDraft presentations, briefings, and updates to senior leadership as well as key internal and external stakeholdersIdentify and monitor project and program milestones across departments and working teamsLead day-to-day operations of assigned projectsManages the ideation process including management of the portfolio of project abstracts which include project objectives, scope, strategy, technical details, milestones, risk analysis and cost estimatesMonitor compliance of standard PMO methodologies, processes and toolsPrepare for and lead cross-functional meetings, including weekly managers' meetings, work-group meetings and other meetings as assignedProvide input on project work streams and design of key deliverables, (e.g., application system improvements, policies)Provide written updates on all projects as assigned. Compile data and generate status reports to project team members and leadershipRecommends process and/or service improvements based on understanding and anticipation of internal and external business challengesTrack outcomes and progress for all assigned projects on common dashboards and escalate risks and issues in a timely manner to appropriate leadershipAnalyze data and reports to shape implementation plans and solutions for assigned projectsAssumes responsibility for all project phases and works directly with the business and third-party vendors in accomplishing project milestonesAutonomously solve unique and complex problems that have a broad impact on the businessCollaborate with Rotech training team members to coordinate development of user manuals, training materials and other documents as needed to enable business readiness and a successful implementation and turnover of the process or system to end users within various departmentsConduct post-project evaluation and identify successful and unsuccessful project elements

Leadership/ManagementDevelop strategic planning and prioritization for the portfolio of approved projects with the Director PMO and a cross-functional team of senior executive leaders.Identify risks and opportunities, taking a proactive approach to problem-solving; shares reporting and insights with a point of view to make actionable recommendations to executives on behalf of the PMO.Work with the Director PMO to maintain a continuous view of resource demand and capacity across the portfolio.Mentor project managersProvide input and feedback to project team membersLead the identification and implementation of opportunities for process improvement within the PMO, IT, and in cross-department work toward strategic goalsContinually review available resources to maintain first-hand knowledge of where resources can be best allocated; reevaluate current resources to determine project resource surplus and shortfallsManages project team members throughout the project execution life-cyclePerforms other duties as assignedTravelTravel occasionally via airplane and/or vehicle

Qualifications
