Role: Senior IT Developer Location: Canton, OH, United States Schedule: Hybrid Job Description: The Senior IT Developer within the Shared Data Platform team plays a pivotal role in partnering with customers, functional business analysts, and fellow team members to design and implement technical solutions that align with business requirements. This role involves the design, development, testing, analysis, and maintenance of Oracle Cloud applications to support business functions. Additionally, the Senior Developer will engage in research, design, documentation, and modification of software specifications throughout the production lifecycle, adhering to organizational architectural standards and business goals. Responsibilities: Strategy & Planning: Acquire and interpret business requirements, creating functional specifications and determining optimal technologies. Research and enhance existing coding standards and implement new development techniques. Submit and review technical and process improvement recommendations as part of the technical leadership team. Collaborate with business and IT teams to plan new features, gather requirements, and propose solutions. Support the entire application lifecycle, from concept and design to testing, release, and ongoing support. Acquisition & Deployment: Demonstrate strong functional knowledge in Product Information Management/Customer Information Management (Customer Data Hub). Analyze business models and customer requirements to design and develop Internet solutions using multiple technologies. Estimate project task hours and lead brainstorming sessions for development functionality. Perform complex programming assignments adhering to established standards, methods, and best practices. Mitigate risks associated with technically complex projects and challenges to the business. Collaborate with other teams to ensure the adoption of standard tools and processes. Communicate effectively through natural language and clear, concise code. Operational Management: Manage and prioritize workload between project and maintenance tasks. Maintain and enhance web applications, incorporating approved changes with detailed programming logic and coding. Provide support for critical web application issues and act as a Subject Matter Expert in problem investigation. Train and mentor other developers, fostering cross-functional collaboration. Conduct research on new technologies, share knowledge with development teams, and lead project and communication meetings. Provide tier 2, on-call support for critical application problems and assist with other projects as required. Qualifications: Formal Education & Certification: Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Information Technology, or equivalent experience. Knowledge & Experience: 5 years of IT experience. Strong technical knowledge in Product Data Hub/Customer Data Hub modules. Experience with at least one cloud implementation and integration with ERP systems (e.g., Oracle E-Business, SAP). Progressive experience in building Java/JavaScript-based applications and system integrations. Proficiency in Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) development and experience in Lean or Agile environments. Familiarity with presentation and communication tools like MS PowerPoint and Visio. Preferred Experience: Experience with SoapUI or similar web service testing tools. Development experience with jQuery/Angular/React/ADF/APEX applications. Familiarity with Oracle JET/Visual Builder Cloud services/Process Builder Cloud services. Experience with version control and software configuration management & deployment tools (e.g., Subversion, Git, Jenkins). Oracle Certification and familiarity with Robotic Process Automation (RPA) tools. Experience working within enterprise development teams and collaborating with diverse stakeholders.
