We empower our clients to live better.As the organization continues to scale, we are looking to hire a Billing Specialist/AR within our Revenue Cycle/Business Administration Team at Performance Optimal Health. This position is responsible for managing the revenue cycle functions related to patient billing and accounts receivable. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and has strong communication and problem-solving skills.This position will be on-site at our Stamford location.Responsibilities:

Review and process patient claims and invoicesVerify insurance eligibility and benefitsResolve billing issues and follow up on outstanding accountsWork with insurance companies and patients to collect payments and resolve disputesMaintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and billing informationProvide exceptional customer service to patients and internal stakeholdersAssist with other billing and revenue cycle tasks as neededRequirements:

High school diploma or equivalent, BS preferred.2+ years of experience in medical billing or accounts receivableKnowledge of healthcare billing procedures and insurance reimbursementStrong understanding of billing and coding regulations (CPT, ICD-10, HCPCS)Proficiency in using billing software and MS Office SuiteExcellent attention to detail and accuracyStrong problem-solving and analytical skillsAbility to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectivelyExcellent customer service and communication skillsAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a team environmentBenefits at a full-time status:
