Role Overview

We're looking for an enthusiastic Executive Assistant to join our team and provide vital support to our Executive Office. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is detail-oriented, and takes initiative. As an Executive Assistant, you'll be instrumental in managing daily operations, coordinating internal and external communications, and ensuring our executive partner is well-prepared and organized.

Key Responsibilities

Calendar Management: Oversee the executive partner's calendar, manage meeting requests, and schedule appointments using Slack and Outlook.Meeting Preparation: Organize agendas, gather necessary documents, and follow up with team members to ensure smooth execution of meetings.Documentation: Produce and review documents such as reports, memos, invoices, and letters.Travel Coordination: Handle travel arrangements and accommodations for the executive office.Office Management: Maintain the physical office space, manage mail, and support occasional on-site meetings in Washington, D.C.Financial Tasks: Invoice clients, maintain receipts, and prepare monthly expense reports.Process Improvement: Work with leadership to streamline workflows and standardize procedures.Special Projects: Collaborate with research, sales, and communications teams on various projects.Qualifications

2 years of experience in politics, political campaigns, research, media, or social advocacy.2 years of experience supporting executives, principals, or political candidates.Strong skills in writing and proofreading reports, emails, and memos.Proficiency in creating presentations and using Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).Experience with problem-solving and workflow improvements.Familiarity with automation tools like Asana, Slack, and Outlook.Ability to travel to our Washington, D.C. office as needed (approximately 40% of the time).Awareness of current political and cultural events is a plus.Why Join Us?
