Business Analyst 2

. This individual will be responsible for assisting with the implementation and support of business information systems across multiple production departments and will identify areas of opportunities within operations and provide solutions to help achieve business goals. Additionally, they will conduct market analyses, analyze product lines and overall probability, as well as develop and monitor data quality metrics to ensure business data and reporting needs are met.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Identify business process needs of departments to gain an understanding of the operations, systems, and business functionsResearch, identify, develop, and analyze cost savings and profit generating processes for all departments of ProductionAssimilate and translate complex technical information into concise and practical information for stakeholdersCoordinate accounting and other financial or data driven projects and reportsAnalyze and track costs of all aspects of the Production processDevelop efficient ways of collecting data for tracking equipment utilization and overall information analysisTake the lead on performing period end reportingMaintain files and perform various clerical functions that support the General Ledger, Financial Statements, and Budget process for the division and the companyEnsure goals are being metDevelop efficient ways of data collectionAssist Production facilities with article creation, receipt management, process orders, etc.Efficient tracking of purchase orders and invoices for Production projectsQualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Analytics, Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Economics, Data Science, Mathematics or closely related field of study.Minimum of two years in business or financial analysis and business process review/improvement is desireable.Proven track record with analytics, design, and project management is preferred.Strong proficiency in spreadsheets along with other Microsoft Office software for word processing, visualizations, project planning and tracking.Strong ability in analyzing a significant amount of data, along with presenting the data in an easy to understand, meaningful way.Basic knowledge of accounting principles and methods.Basic knowledge of systems and other relational database technologies.Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with department managers, co-workers, and external vendors.High level of self-confidence.Ability to understand company profitability statements and understand the key variables that influence profitability both within the department and across the company.Ability to represent and promote Kwik Trip, Inc. in a professional manner.Excellent oral and written communication skills.Accurate/detail oriented.Demonstrate self-initiative.Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects.Strong analytical and problem solving skills.Strong organizational and computer skills.

Work Schedule:

Monday through Friday, daytime hours; weekends as needed.
