Robinhood is looking to hire a senior professional to join our team as a Senior Associate, U.S. Federal Affairs. This role will focus on federal advocacy and government affairs related to legislative and regulatory matters. This person will work closely on our priority policy issues, described in more detail on Robinhood’s policy site

Advocate for relevant policy issues and develop relationships with policymakers in U.S. Congress and Executive BranchMonitor the political and policy environment to identify opportunities that advance Robinhood’s policy prioritiesLead engagements with industry associations, ensuring their agenda drives Robinhood’s policy goalsEquip key internal stakeholders with clear and timely understanding of complex legislative and regulatory policiesManage strategy of and prepare Robinhood executives for engagements with relevant government stakeholdersDevelop content to drive advocacy and engagement with U.S. Congress, regulatory agencies, and other government stakeholdersProvide recommendations and strategic guidance on Robinhood’s policy agenda to advance our prioritiesWhat you bring

8-10+ years of experience working in the U.S. Congress and/or Executive Branch, including experience working with relevant committees and agenciesSubstantial experience working for a member of Congress or a Congressional committeeFamiliarity with financial services companies and ability to communicate complex financial services policy, with a proven track record of advancing interests in these areasExisting relationships and positive rapport with relevant government stakeholders and industry groupsExcellent written, interpersonal and communication skills; extraordinary ability to communicate information effectively internally and externally and to drive cross-functional alignment and actionExecution oriented attitude with the humility, drive, and creativity to get things doneExperience working in house at another fintech or private sector company; with broker-dealers; and/or engaging with or working for one or more federal or state financial services regulatorsEagerness to learn about new and emerging technologiesWhat we offer
