Join us and make an impact today!POSITION PURPOSE:Assists in the smooth operation of the property, addressing maintenance, leasing, finance, administration, and overall customer satisfaction and retention. Responsible for customer service as it pertains to residents and serves as the liaison between the maintenance team and the residents.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Assist the Property Manager in addressing the needs of the property and its residentsAddresses resident complaints and maintenance requestsScheduling appointments for repairs and for meetings with residentsPrepares correspondence and noticesPrepares paperwork with respect to resident accountsResponsible for follow up with residents to guarantee the work orders are being done correctly and expeditiouslyAssisting with rent increases, late payments/collections, evictions, and the move-in/out processMaintain files for residents, lease applications, deposits, etc., and assist in leasing when neededSuch other tasks or assignments as may be required by managementSUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES (if any):NoneEDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: (including certification, licenses, etc.)High School Diploma RequiredPrior experience in residential real estate preferredCOMMUNICATION SKILL REQUIREMENTS:Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal.Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.Ability to write simple correspondence and/or reportsMATHEMATICAL SKILL REQUIREMENTS:Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide.Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentagesREASONING SKILL REQUIREMENTS:Detail oriented.Deadline driven and ability to manage multiple tasks.Ability to work independently and to proactively evaluate and address work opportunities within the area of responsibilityAbility to apply common-sense understanding to carry out instructions.Ability to solve practical problems.TECHNICAL SKILL REQUIREMENTS:Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.Experience in Yardi or comparable software a plus.Operate standard office equipment.PERFORMANCE METRICS:Accuracy in work product.Timeliness in completion of work product.Feedback from clients, peers, customers, and other key contacts on effectiveness of the incumbent.WHAT CIM OFFERS:CIM offers an enriched benefits program as well as a wide range of resources for eligible employees to thrive both inside and outside of work.
