What you will need:
  • Ph.D. or PsyD in Clinical Psychology specializing in Health Psychology, Pain Focus
  • Licensed or license eligible as a Clinical Psychologist in the state of Illinois
  • Board-certified or eligible by ABPP
  • New graduates or experienced clinicians are welcome to apply


What you will do:
  • Engage in evidence-based therapy with patients who have chronic and acute pain conditions
  • Work as part of an interdisciplinary team
  • Conduct pre-surgical psychological evaluations
  • Opportunities available for academic talks, teaching, clinical training, and clinical research


The current Psychology service includes 11 health psychologists (two pain health psychologists) and five general psychologists (adult and C&A), as well as four externs and a health psychology fellow for the current academic year.
