Marketing Web Manager

JOB PURPOSE:

As the Marketing Web Manager, you will lead and guide strategies for customer-facing websites, online shops, mobile apps, and customer portals. Focus will be on optimizing the user experience (UX), analyzing behaviors, and driving conversions. Additionally, you'll collaborate across teams, stay informed about technology trends, and provide performance feedback to your team members.

KEY FUNCTIONS:

  • Lead and guide strategies using best practices for customer-facing websites, online shops, mobile apps and customer portals.
  • Develop, maintain, and ensure implementation of web governance and accessibility guidelines that support brand integrity, enhance usability, and establish accountability for our website and apps.
  • Oversee web component of strategy across all marketing campaigns. Lead the team in conceptualizing, strategizing and executing customer-facing web solutions with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Leads UX for customer websites, analyzing user behaviors and goals. Optimizes digital touchpoints for higher conversions and sales growth, focusing on CTA and user journey. Creates and maintains customer journey maps.
  • Provides overall SEO Strategy and oversight to support an ongoing content maintenance and optimization plan. Combine data analysis, user research, content audits and other sources to determine ways to drive conversions and improve user experience and engagement.
  • Collaborate across teams to define and implement KPIs and conversion metrics related to all web and app performance and report insights to leadership.
  • Partners with Vendors to elevate internal strategies that support company growth.
  • Collaborates with Marketing Automation manager to integrate web and email platforms for lead generation. Creates strategies to drive online traffic and builds relationships with various departments such as Operations, IT, Sports, PR, Product Owners, and Business Analysts to achieve company goals.
  • Stay on top and review new technology trends and opportunities to ensure the company remains a digital marketing leader within the industry and in the digital marketing space.
  • Produce forecast reports on our project workload and pipeline - considering new, seasonal and recurring projects. Proactively communicate potential roadblocks and provide solutions with details of the impact (ie budget, timelines) of these workarounds for leadership to make informed decisions.
  • Provide timely performance feedback and daily coaching of team members. Develop staff by providing information, educational opportunities and experiential growth opportunities. Through continuous conversations, effectively manage disciplinary and/or performance concerns.
  • Adhere to Midco privacy guidelines to ensure each customer's privacy.
  • Be available to provide assistance to team members outside of normal business hours as necessary.

  • Actively follow Midco policies and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or similar field required. Focus in web or digital strategy, marketing, advertising or related field, preferred.
  • At least 5 years of proven experience in a digital marketing role. 1 or more years of experience leading digital or web teams or proven ability to lead others.
  • Deep knowledge of SEO (Moz), keyword research planning, CMS, and related tools required.
  • Proven experience with UX strategy required.
  • Google Analytics certification is preferred, with current experience implementing and optimizing campaigns, and analyzing web stats.


WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL & MENTAL QUALIFICATIONS:

  • The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, or crouch.
  • The noise level in the work environment is moderate.
  • Employees may be required to work in excess of 40 hours per week and other than normal business hours, such as holidays, evenings and weekends as business demands.
