Position Summary:
This position is responsible for leading a Team of product and application experts in specific technology(s) to optimize customer process performance by recommending best fit (cost/performance) solution, managing customer trials of new and existing products/processes, The team is the Liaison between R&D, Sales and the customer. Provides technical and application support to the frontline sales teams, direct and indirect customers in the region including: product training, product recommendation, problem solving, customer presentations and trial support

Job Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to the frontline sales force, including troubleshooting, new product implementation, process optimization, trial leadership, etc.
- Identify and clearly define customer needs, lead internal collaboration to deliver the best solution.
- Manage the product line's pricing and profitability
- Select appropriate products from the portfolio in accordance with business needs and product line strategy.
- Propose products/modifications from the portfolio in accordance with business needs, product line strategy, and specific customer needs.
- Collaborate with Commercial, Operations and R&D to determine and establish feasibility and total product cost as input for the final offer.
- Develop and deliver presentations to customer and general market on technical/product related subjects including case studies, white papers, in collaboration with Commercial team.
- Understand the competitive landscape and provide input where applicable.
- Utilize the CRM system to manage responsibilities, collaborate, and capture important historical data for sales projects.
- Comply with all Company Policies: to include but not limited to Code of Conduct and expense reporting, etc.
- Ownership of individual development plan (IDP) as agreed upon with direct line manager.
- Implement and drive and internal value based selling approach through the customer engagement and account management process.
Education, Experience & Skills:
- Bachelor's Degree required (MS/MBA preferred) in Chemistry, Engineering or any business area.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a customer facing and technical capacity.
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% of the time to customer sites.
- Willingness and ability to work from a home-based office.
