This position offers a unique opportunity to work on complex and challenging insurance defense cases, representing some of the most reputable insurance companies in the industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a diverse caseload, conducting legal research, preparing legal documents, and representing clients in court. Handle a wide range of insurance defense cases from start to finish.2. Conduct thorough legal research to support case preparation and strategy development.3. Draft, review, and revise a variety of legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and contracts.4. Represent clients in court, mediations, arbitrations, depositions, and administrative hearings.5. Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, and team members.6. Provide sound legal advice and guidance to clients, ensuring their rights and interests are protected.7. Stay updated with the latest legal trends, court decisions, and new laws that may affect clients and their cases.8. Participate in business development activities to expand the firm's client base and enhance its reputation in the legal community.Qualifications:1. Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.2. License to practice law in the state of Texas3. Minimum of 1 year of experience in civil litigation, with experience conducting depositions4. Extensive experience in conducting hearings, depositions, arbitrations, and trials.5. Excellent legal research, analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.6. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively present complex legal arguments.7. Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines simultaneously.8. High level of professionalism, integrity, and ethical standards.9. Proficiency in legal research tools and software.10. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.11.
