In this role, you will be responsible for Analysis, Design, Development and Production Support for our Oracle Database and REST Web Services Development Team, supporting Fidelity Institutional Wealth Management Services (IWMS) Technology, and the Operations Experience and Platform Access Product Area. You represent our team on large- and small- scale projects, while also working on individual tasks and support requests. You should enjoy collaborating in-person with leadership and teammates in our NC location, along with partners and teammates across the globe. You should have strong Oracle and Java Development, along with good Communications, skills.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring (The order of these bullets does not matter)

• 6+ years of Java Development experience
• 3+ Years of Oracle Development experience
• Hands-on working experience with Oracle database, PL/SQL, SQL, and Shell Scripting
• Experience with Oracle Golden Gate or similar replication is a plus
• Experience developing Java, Spring Framework and REST/SOAP Web Services
• Experience designing and maintaining Cloud applications (AWS, Azure) is preferred
• Exposure to CI/CD process (Jenkins, UDeploy, Concourse, Terraform)
• Prior experience with Production Support activities is a plus
• Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field
• You have experience with relational database design and analysis
• You have ability to take initiative and are self-motivated
• You have excellent written and verbal communication skills
• You can work in a highly matrixed, agile environment

• Performing technical and functional analysis for determining and developing the best delivery approaches based on requirements, swarming and iterating with teammates and your squad leader as needed
• Providing original and creative technical solutions to ongoing development efforts and critical initiatives
• Development on small to complex initiatives, components, and subsystems
• Supporting and performing all phases of testing leading to final implementation, including unit, integration, acceptance testing and production install validation
• Crafting and maintaining clear and concise technical documentation and status
• Providing application support, problem diagnosis and resolution, acting as an on-call resource supporting the organization incident escalation models, including code release validation and production installation support

As part of the eDB2 Team, you will provide Development and Support for data integration and services required for numerous institutional applications. The tight integration between eDB2 and these applications leads to significant involvement in both Discretionary Projects and TLM and Support activities. You will conduct analysis, design, and develop using PL/SQL, SQL, Shell Scripting, UNIX and JAVA technologies.
