Job Details

We are a Building Energy Solutions firm that specializes in turnkey solutions to help businesses manage their facility HVAC system, energy consumption, building lighting, indoor air quality and energy metering.

We are seeking an experienced BMS Project Manager who will be responsible for overseeing and managing Building Management & Energy Management construction projects from start to finish. This includes coordinating with various stakeholders, ensuring project milestones are met, and delivering projects on time and within budget.

The ideal candidate would be coming from a background working with Mechanical Construction, Building Management, or Energy Management Systems

Duties:

  • Plan, organize, and manage all aspects of projects
  • Develop project schedules and ensure adherence to timeline
  • Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution
  • Monitor project progress and make necessary adjustments to meet objectives
  • Manage project budgets and track expenses
  • Review and negotiate contracts with vendors and suppliers
  • Conduct regular site visits to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards
  • Communicate project updates to stakeholders and address any concerns or issues that arise
  • Utilize construction management software track project documentation, change orders, and RFIs

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field, or relevant work experience
  • 5+ years project management experience in either Mechanical Construction, BMS, or EMS projects
  • Experience with one or more of the following platforms is a plus: Johnson Controls, Schneider Electric, Distech, Tridium Niagara, Siemens, Trane, Delta Controls, Automated Logic, or other
  • Proficiency in project scheduling software
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
