Overview

Develops and maintains strategic positive relationships with clients and vendors through effective collaboration with Paychex 401k department. Acts as the key client advocate for deliverables and drives business results and strategy.

Responsibilities

Acts as a liaison between clients, internal partners and external vendors to deliver best in class client service. Establishes and maintains partnerships with Sales and other internal and external partners to ensure client needs are met.

Responds to client and internal communication in a timely, professional manner to resolve escalated matters, including payroll and plan set up issues, “how-to” inquiries, training needs, and system issues. Anticipates clients' needs and recommends enhancements and efficiencies.

Anticipates, creates, and implements a consistent communication, process, and performance gaps to Sales, Implementation, Service, and other departments to ensure client satisfaction. Identifies and coordinates client service and 401k plan needs, including plan design and exceptions.

Develops and maintains knowledge of IRS and ERISA regulations to provide optimal service and technical guidance regarding plan maintenance and to ensure plan compliance with all regulations.

Provides management team with regular reporting, communication, and status updates to ensure client satisfaction in a strategic manner.

Communicates with outside parties, including CPAs, Financial Advisors, Attorneys, Auditors, and third-party vendors.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree - Preferred

2 years of experience in Account Management.

3 years of experience in 401(k)/Retirement Administration.

Demonstrates customer service skills.

Strong verbal communication and listening skills.

Possesses strong product knowledge.

Ability to build strong customer relationships.

Demonstrates problem solving skills.

QKA or higher - Preferred

Compensation

In the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share that the starting base pay range for this position is $51,500 - $72,834.95 annually. Please remember that this range is the base pay only and does not consider other components that make up the total rewards package for the position. If you are hired at Paychex, your overall compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience, which may result in total compensation outside of this range.
