Represent clients in complex litigation matters in court and during settlement negotiations.Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategies.Prepare and execute discovery plans, including depositions and interrogatories.Collaborate with senior attorneys and clients to develop case strategies and arguments.Manage case files and ensure timely completion of legal tasks.Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and legal precedents.Provide regular updates to clients on case progress and developments.Assist in preparing and delivering presentations and oral arguments in court.Requirements
Minimum of 3+ years of litigation experience.Strong writing and analytical skills.Excellent academic credentials from a reputable law school.A desire to appear in court and engage in litigation activities.Experience in healthcare and energy litigation is preferred.Licensed to practice law in the state of Texas.Education
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Certifications
Current and valid license to practice law in the state of Texas.Skills
