Location: Columbia, MarylandThe Marketing Content Specialist creates engaging and informative content including blog posts, print collateral, promotional materials, and website copy that align with our brand voice and marketing goals.This role works within a highly collaborative team environment and partners closely with departments across the organization including Regional Leadership, Operations, Recruitment, Information Services, Communications, Human Resources, Compliance, Legal, and Clinical.Brainstorm and write engaging, high-quality content to help drive leads and build brand awareness across prints, web, email, video, infographics, and social media.Edit and proofread content before publication to ensure clarity, grammatical accuracy, consistency, brand adherence, and quality.Perform keyword research and produce SEO optimized web content.Build and execute content marketing strategies for multiple service lines in alignment with short and long-term marketing goals.Use strong research skills to stay abreast of consumer and business behaviors.Manage editorial calendar and collaborate with team members to ensure alignment, consistency, and transparency.Use content management systems to create, manage, and publish content on the web.Monitor and report KPIs and show continuous improvements.Collaborate with the creative services team to create print and digital assets.Collaborate with social media and digital specialists on social posts, SEO campaigns, and landing pages.Perform other duties as assigned.Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Journalism, Communications, Business, or a related field.Minimum of 3 years of related work experience, specifically writing for web and print.Knowledge of SEO, SMO, analytics, and other key marketing metrics.Outstanding personal skills, including the ability to work effectively in a team environment, handle internal clients with tact and diplomacy, and maintain composure and production quality under deadline.Strong attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.Ability to work with external vendors and freelancers.Familiarity with content management systems such as WordPress, Drupal, and Hubspot.Knowledge of copy and layout design tools such as Adobe InDesign.Awareness of the sales funnel and consumer behavior.Ability to self-motivate and work independently.Outstanding organization and project management skills – ability to juggle multiple deadlines and experience with project management tools like Trello, Asana, or Monday.Ability to think strategically and execute tactically.Proficiency in the English language required.Wage/Salary Information:$65,000 - $85,000, with a $5,000 annual bonus potential.About Maxim Healthcare Services:Maxim Healthcare Services has been making a difference in the lives of our patients, caregivers, employees, and communities for more than 30 years.
