Position Summary:
This position will help with weekend coverage for our Non-Invasive Cardiology Department.Responsibilities:Provides quality patient care when performing diagnostic cardiology and/or vascular sonographic imaging and related procedures to demonstrate anatomy for interpretation and/or intervention under the supervision of the department supervisor, manager, or director.Demonstrates competency in routine noninvasive and/or invasive cardiology and/or vascular ultrasound diagnostics, andequipment operation and maintenance.Performs routine assignments using existing procedure guidelines.Qualifications:Education/TrainingGraduate of an accredited school of sonography. Depending on assigned department, meets education/training as required under established current American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) and/or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) guidelines.Licensure/Certification? Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) through the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers(ARDMS); and? Registered in Fetal Echocardiography (FE); and/or? Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) through the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS);and? Registered in at least ONE of the following registries: Adult Echo (AE), Fetal Echo (FE) or Pediatric Echo (PE); and/or? Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) or Advanced Cardiac Sonographer (ACS) or Registered Congenital Cardiac Sonographer(RCCS) through Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI); and/or? Registered in Pediatric Echo and/or Congenital Echo for APH Cardiology Department; and/or? Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) through the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS); and? Registered in at least ONE of the following registries: Vascular, Phlebology, Neurovascular (through The American Society of Neuroimaging (ASNI)); and/or? Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS) through Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI); and? Maintains current BLS/HealthCare Provider certification.
