The Software Engineer is responsible for the following phases of the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC); Design, Development, Integration, Implementation and Maintenance.- This person is also expected to work and communicate with project stakeholders from the requirements gathering phase through project completion, to create timelines and milestones corresponding to project scope.- -In addition, this position will assist in the successful operation and continued improvement of software interacting with various business systems such as a Manufacturing Execution System (MES), and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) System.- -

Software/Solution Development including design, development, integration and implementation of various business solutions.

-Seamless integration with existing business systems (MES, ERP, Production Network Systems, Custom Apps)

-Assist in efforts to troubleshoot software issues alongside other Business Systems team members

Maintain existing systems and custom applications as needed.

-Thoroughly document code for more effective maintenance and troubleshooting

Work with both internal teams and outside vendors to develop improvements to existing IT systems

-Manage testing of developments within the various DEV/TEST environments for existing IT systems

HS Diploma, required

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems or Business Administration, required

2+ years hands on software, web development and database development, required

2+ years experience with various manufacturing applications MES/ERP/SCADA, preferred

2+ years working in a manufacturing environment, preferred

2+ years of project management experience, preferred
