Overview
Job Purpose
ICE Mortgage Technology is seeking a Software Test Analyst to support both manual and automated testing of proprietary software applications. The Software Test Analyst will create and maintain the processes of the division's quality assurance program.
ResponsibilitiesPerforms complex QA work; focus on monitoring and administering quality assurance concepts, practices, and tools currently in placeDevelops, maintains and upgrades Manual and Automated test scripts, utilities, simulators, data sets and other programmatic test tools required to execute test plans.Contributes to team by performing analysis, monitoring systems, and assisting technical & product managers in the evaluation of QA processes; assists with debugging and enhancing applicationsResponsible for reviewing software applications objectively, working with Business Analysts and End-Users to understand requirements and Developers to understand the impact of changes; uses experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goalsDemonstrates a strong understanding of how assigned tasks contribute to internal Quality Assurance processesSolves complex problems in QA and provides solutions based on judgment and existing precedents or proceduresMay teach or train junior colleagues on QA processes and procedures, and report performance to managementEffectively communicates testing activities and findings in oral and written formsControls and manages own daily test activitiesPerforms other related duties as assignedKnowledge and Experience
BA/ BS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Math or equivalent4-6+ Years of experience in QA engineering or application developmentKnowledge of QA methods, tools, and technology used in software testingAbility to write and execute test casesBasic knowledge of C# and understanding of .NET strongly preferredExperience with QA Automation and relevant tools (i.e. Selenium) strongly preferredDetail oriented with strong organizational skills to effectively manage multiple projectsAbility to communicate effectively verbally and in writing to report problems and clarify requirementsAbility to work in an agile development environment where developers and testing personnel work closely together to ensure requirements are met or exceeded
Schedule
This role offers work from home flexibility of 1 day per week.
