Job Title: Senior Chief Engineer (ICC-B)

Job Summary : EMCOR Government Services has a need for

Senior Chief Engineer for ICC-B in Bethesda, MD.

This role provides services to include supporting the Program Manager and Deputy Program Manager, supervising personnel, and performing maintenance and repair of equipment at the Intelligence Community Campus of Bethesda located in Maryland. This position is covered by the CBA for Local 99.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Assist the Engineering Supervisor with his duties.

Supervise and assist with the maintenance of site equipment and building structure.

Prepare Watch Schedules in a timely manner.

Supervise and assist in the training and development of Tour Mechanics.

Assist Honeywell Tech with the monitoring, maintenance and repairs of the BMS systems on the site.

Assist with the troubleshooting of all equipment on site.

Supervise the performance of the preventive maintenance of all equipment on site.

Institute corrective action and/or inform his supervisor on any deficiencies found in the course of performing the job.

Provide Monthly Reports on Preventive Maintenance system.

Attend meetings with Client and USG and be prepared to provide corrective solutions to site issues.

Supervise HVAC Mechanics, Maintenance Mechanic/Carpenters, Fire Alarm Tech’s and General Maintenance Workers.

Monitor Subcontractors in their task and provide reports when needed.

Perform other tasks as directed by his Supervisor.

Qualifications:

A Class 1 Engineers License is required.

Must have CFC Certification.

Seven (7) or more years experience in maintenance and repairs on Commercial-Industrial building equipment to include but not limited to:

Chillers =/+500 tons, Pumps, Control Systems, Air Handlers, Cooling Towers, Heat Exchangers, VAV’s, VFD’s.

Three (3) years in a Supervisory position during that time.

Demonstrate the ability to read and understand Blueprints, schematics and specifications.

Be able to demonstrate practical knowledge of Chiller Plant Operations.

Be able to demonstrate practical knowledge of Building Air Systems.

Able to work extended hours when needed.

Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.

Candidates must hold an active Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility and favorable Polygraph.

Heavy physical effort (lift/carry up to 50 lbs. / push up to 100 lbs).

Prolonged, extensive or considerable standing/walking.

Push/pull or move/lift equipment, supplies, parts.

Manual dexterity and mobility.

Considerable reaching, stooping, bending, kneeling and crouching.
