We're looking for a Senior Regional Facilities Operations Lead to manage the operations of our workplaces that reimagine how Atlassians do their best work when they choose to come to an office. In this role, you will oversee the facilities operations for our 5 offices: San Francisco, Mountain View, Seattle, Austin and New York.
You'll be a member of the Workplace Experience Operations team which is nested within the Team Anywhere org.
This role will be based in either The Bay area or Seattle and is crucial for ensuring our facilities operations in North America are seamless, innovative, and aligned with our global standards.
Responsibilities:What you'll do
Operational Excellence:
Oversee the management of our facilities partner to elevate our workplace operation standards, safety, and compliance. Partner with our Real Estate and Design team to influence office design decisions and manage transitions to new office and facilities.
Strategic Planning and Leadership:
Collaborate with internal stakeholders and partners to ensure operational excellence and decisions are aligned to Team Anywhere goals, develop improvement plans based on office performance insights, and support the Real Estate team with office expansions.
Support Workplace Experience:
Support the Workplace Experience team with Team Anywhere and Experience programs when required.
Incident and Crisis Management:
Provide expert support for incident and crisis management within the workplace.
Financial Management:
Manage financial management for site-based budget categories, including budget preparation and invoice approvals.
Qualifications:Your background
Proficiency in managing facilities, assets, and day-to-day operations while ensuring compliance with regulations.
Experience working cross-functionally with Real Estate and Workplace teams to strategize and implement office space redesigns.
Demonstrated proficiency in creating an in-office hospitality environment to elevate the overall workplace experience, coupled with a strong track record in optimizing buildings for distributed work environments.
An experienced workplace and facilities management professional with 10+ years of industry experience.
A deep knowledge of the North America region and a strong understanding of hard and soft services.
A strategic thinker experienced with balancing customer needs with business goals.
An exceptional communicator with strong stakeholder management skills.
Compensation:At Atlassian, we strive to design equitable, explainable, and competitive compensation programs. To support this goal, the baseline of our range is higher than that of the typical market range, but in turn we expect to hire most candidates near this baseline. Base pay within the range is ultimately determined by a candidate's skills, expertise, or experience. In the United States, we have three geographic pay zones. For this role, our current base pay ranges for new hires in each zone are:
Zone A $134,400 - $179,200Zone B $120,900 - $161,200Zone C $111,500 - $148,700
This role may also be eligible for benefits, bonuses, commissions, and equity.
