Revolution Medicines is a clinical-stage precision oncology company focused on developing novel targeted therapies to inhibit frontier targets in RAS-addicted cancers. As a new member of the Revolution Medicines team, you will join other outstanding professionals in a tireless commitment to patients with cancers harboring mutations in the RAS signaling pathway.Revolution Medicines seeks a highly motivated and experienced individual to join as the Senior Director, Head of Medical Information. This role will lead the Medical Information team and play a key role in establishing and growing our medical information capabilities. The head of medical information will work closely with various departments, including Research, Quality, Safety, Clinical Development, Commercial, Regulatory, Legal and Compliance, to ensure seamless cross-functional collaboration. This role involves both individual contributor and team management duties. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational, communication and leadership skills in addition to being proactive and detail oriented.The Opportunity:

Develop and execute the strategic plan for medical information.Provide leadership and direction to the Medical Information team, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.Oversee the creation, review, and maintenance of the medical information knowledge database.Ensure all medical information responses provided to healthcare professionals, patients, caregivers and internal stakeholders are accurate, evidence-based, consistent, timely and compliant.Develop and maintain the Clinical Trial Hot line across the Revolution Medicines portfolio.Lead and manage the Medical Information vendor, providing strategic direction and support.Manage the process for responding to unsolicited medical inquiries and ensure all medical information activities comply with relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards.Build and maintain strong relationships with key internal stakeholders including Research, Clinical, Regulatory, Commercial teams to obtain necessary product information and updates.Support the development and review of medical information materials.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure all medical information communicated is accurate and consistent.Update internal stakeholders of new issues or developments that may impact product knowledge.Provide insights on customer medical information needs to inform the medical strategic plan.Monitor and analyze medical information inquiries and trends to identify potential issues and opportunities for improvement.Prepare and present regular reports on medical information activities, performance metrics and outcomes to senior management.Train and support the medical information call center vendor.Promote a collaborative and inclusive work environment that supports professional growth and development.Oversee the onboarding process for new hires and provide mentorship and guidance to new team members.Ensure the effective use of technology to support medical information activities and improve operational efficiency.Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in medical information and healthcare.Plan and manage the budget for the Medical Information department.Provide guidance on the receipt, processing safety information and product complaints.Ensure all safety information is managed in accordance with regulatory guidelines and internal protocols.Provide support for the Medical Affairs department as needed.Required Skills, Experience and Education:

Must have experience in medical information.Minimum of 10 years of experience and proven leadership experience with ability to manage and develop high-performing teams.Knowledge of regulatory guidelines related to medical information and safety reporting.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.Proficient in clearly and effectively conveying complex medical and scientific information.Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.Proficiency in using medical information databases and other relevant software tools.Self-driven, passionate, innovative, with ability to manage multiple complex projects of broad scope in a fast-paced environment.Collaborative, with the ability to build and maintain strong interpersonal relationships.Ability to gain trust and confidence from all levels within the organization.Strong analytical skills with the ability to monitor and analyze data to inform decision-making.Willingness to travel, approximately 10-20%.Preferred Skills:

Advanced scientific or medical degree (PharmD, MD, PhD preferred).Medical affairs within the biotech or pharmaceutical industry.Experience in oncology therapeutic area.The base salary range for this full-time position is $240,000 - $294,000 for candidates based at our headquarters in Redwood City, CA. The range displayed on each job posting is intended to be the minimum and maximum salary for the position in Redwood City and will be adjusted for the local market a candidate is based. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
